 Earlier this month… June 8th to be exact, gohgirl joined up with The Sampler to participate in the MTV Movie Awards Gift Lounge. Yah! We sent a bunch of secret agent tee’s + note cards for all attendees and press to see.
Unfortunately, that particular weekend, my entire website vanished. My web host experienced a major network outage of some sort and my site was down from Saturday, June 7 through Wednesday of the following week. So I apologize to those searching for gohgirl products and got an empty webpage. What luck, huh? Sigh. Anyway, below is a snapshot of Vanessa A. I get all kinds of junk catalogs in the mail. Most… maybe all of them go straight from my mailbox into the recycling bin. It’s so annoying and wasteful. Luckily, I recently found this company called Catalog Choice.
It’s an online service to get rid of all those unwanted catalogs. It’s free and so easy to sign up. You can search through their database of catalogs or suggest a catalog that you don’t see on their opt out list. Visit the site and sign up! What a great way to reduce waste and help the environment. |

Well, the holidays came and went and here it is already the middle of January. Where does the time go? So I must apologize for the lack of news. | The day started out slow meaning I couldn’t get my butt in gear. I just wanted to be lazy on a Sunday morning. Sigh. By the time I got to Hayes Valley, the festival had already started and silly ol’ me was scrambling to get things set up. No worries. I had some helping hands to assist me so the booth was set up in no time.
Lucky for us, it was a gorgeous day in SF. Sun was shining and it felt nice. The booth was located in front of this store which was burning incense, televising various NFL football games, cooking up a feast, playing reggae music and by early afternoon, a drum circle had started. And a brave, lone man decided to start dancing in the middle of the drum circle. You can say we were in a very lively area! And last but not least, don’t forget our usual greeter, Rio. He is always such a good sport! |
